The Basavanagudi Co-operative Society Ltd., located in Gandhibazar, Bengaluru, is one of the most trusted and well-known consumer co-operative societies in the state. Established during the old Mysore State period, the consumer society has a long-standing history of serving consumers by providing quality products and services at fair prices. For more than 20 years, the consumer society has consistently demonstrated its commitment to its members and consumers, including the achievement of paying dividends for 14 consecutive years. With its notable achievements and consumer-focused approach, the consumer society stands as an excellent example of a successful consumer co-operative institution. In the Financial Year 2025–26, it continues to uphold its reputation for efficient service, consumer welfare, and responsible co-operative practices.
